I. Training Objectives

1. Enhance the environmental awareness of trainees, helping them deeply understand the importance and urgency of ecological and environmental protection as well as their own responsibilities, and fostering the concept that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.”

2. Help trainees master the core environmental protection laws, regulations, policies, and standards; clearly define the boundaries of environmentally responsible behavior in their daily work and life; and avoid the risk of environmental violations.

3. Teach practical environmental knowledge and skills, including pollution prevention, resource conservation, waste sorting, green office practices, and more, to enhance participants’ ability to put environmental protection into practice.

4. Promote the creation of an environmental protection atmosphere characterized by “everyone’s participation, joint construction, and shared benefits,” and guide trainees to transform environmental protection concepts into conscious actions, thereby contributing to green development.

Module 1: Interpretation of the Environmental Protection Situation and Policies

1. Current Status of Ecological and Environmental Protection at Home and Abroad: Global climate change, hazards posed by environmental pollution (air, water, and soil), and the status of biodiversity conservation.

2. Key Interpretations of the Latest Amendments to China’s Core Environmental Protection Policies and Regulations: including the “Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China,” the “Law on Prevention and Control of Air Pollution,” the “Law on Prevention and Control of Water Pollution,” the “Law on Prevention and Control of Soil Pollution,” and others.

3. Local environmental protection policies and regulatory requirements: Specific provisions regarding regional restrictions on vehicle traffic, discharge permits, environmental inspections, and reward-and-punishment mechanisms.

4. Green Development Strategy: The implications of the “Dual Carbon” goals (carbon peak and carbon neutrality), directions for green industrial transformation, and development opportunities for the environmental protection industry.

Module Two: Popularization of Core Environmental Protection Knowledge

1. Awareness of Major Pollutants: The sources and hazards of exhaust gases (including particulate matter, VOCs, sulfur dioxide, etc.), wastewater (including heavy metals, COD, ammonia nitrogen, etc.), and solid wastes (including domestic waste, industrial solid waste, and hazardous waste).

2. Fundamentals of Pollution Control: Common Technologies for Air Pollution Control, An Introduction to Wastewater Treatment Processes, and Principles of Solid Waste Reduction and Resource Utilization.

3. Resource Conservation and Recycling: Knowledge on water resource protection and water-saving techniques, methods for conserving electricity, and recycling of renewable resources (waste paper, waste plastics, waste metals).

4. Everyday Environmental Awareness: Waste Sorting Standards and Disposal Guidelines, Indoor Air Pollution Prevention, Green Transportation and Low-Carbon Lifestyles.

Module 3: Industry- or Scenario-Specific Environmental Protection Practices

1. Corporate Scenarios: Key points for pollution prevention and control in the production process, daily operation and maintenance standards for environmental protection facilities (such as exhaust gas treatment equipment and wastewater treatment plants), procedures for the storage and disposal of hazardous waste, and environmental emergency drills (e.g., spill response).

2. Scenarios for government agencies and public institutions: Implementation guidelines for green office practices (paperless office, conservation of consumables), segregated management of office waste and food-waste kitchen waste, and environmental protection requirements for landscaping and maintenance within the institution.

3. Community/Family Scenarios: Practical tips for household waste sorting, eco-friendly care of balcony plants, methods for reducing wastewater in daily life, and practical strategies for minimizing the use of single-use items.

Module Four: Environmental Responsibility and Action Guidelines

1. Environmental protection responsibilities of different entities: enterprises’ primary responsibility for environmental protection, government departments’ regulatory responsibility, and individuals’ environmental protection obligations.

2. Environmental Behavior Guidelines: A list of prohibited environmentally harmful behaviors in daily work and life, as well as a list of recommended green behaviors.

3. Environmental Protection Supervision and Participation: Reporting channels for environmental issues (such as the 12369 environmental hotline), ways to participate in environmental public welfare activities, and practicing green consumption principles (choosing eco-friendly products and resisting excessive packaging).

4. Case Analysis: Learn from positive cases (green enterprises, environmental pioneers) and draw lessons from negative cases (environmental violations), including warnings and summaries of key takeaways.

1. Theoretical Lectures: Expert instruction combined with PPT presentations, systematically conveying environmental protection knowledge and policies.

2. Case Study: Organize group discussions based on typical environmental protection cases to deepen understanding and awareness.

3. Hands-on practice: Conduct on-site, hands-on instruction covering topics such as waste sorting and operation of environmental protection facilities.

4. Video Instruction: Play environmental documentaries, videos explaining policies, and on-site case videos to enhance the intuitiveness of training.

5. Interactive Q&A: Set up a question-and-answer session to address environmental concerns that participants encounter in their daily work and life.

 

V. Training Assessment and Effectiveness Evaluation

1. Assessment methods: theoretical test (multiple-choice questions, true-or-false questions, short-answer questions), practical assessment (e.g., hands-on garbage sorting, assessment of operational procedures for environmental protection facilities), and submission of training reflections.

2. Effectiveness Assessment: The effectiveness of the training will be evaluated by comparing pre- and post-training surveys on environmental awareness, collecting feedback from participants, and tracking subsequent environmental behaviors (such as corporate compliance rates with environmental regulations and accuracy rates of community waste sorting).

 

VI. Training Preparation

1. Faculty Preparation: Invite experts in the environmental protection field, seasoned industry practitioners, and policy interpretation specialists to serve as training instructors.

2. Material Preparation: Training materials, PPT presentations, assessment papers, practical props for waste sorting, and environmental protection promotional brochures.

3. Venue Preparation: Select an appropriate venue based on the scale of the training and equip it with projectors, audio systems, and other necessary equipment. For hands-on training, ensure in advance that the hands-on practice area is safe.

4. Preliminary Research: Gain an early understanding of the participants’ industry backgrounds, their existing knowledge of environmental protection, and their core needs, thereby optimizing the training content in a targeted manner.
